DESCRIPTION:Do you love to golf? So do we\, but we can’t do it without volunteers like you. We are holding practices at Outlook on our golf simulator from now until the end of May. Our participants are blind and low vision with varying levels of golf experience. \nWhat you’ll do: \n\nRelay information displayed on the golf simulator screen (ie\, distance\, direction\, water\, sand)\nHelp participants get lined up with the simulator screen if needed\nFind golf balls and set up tees\nGive pointers on techniques\nRecommend which clubs to use\nCoach putting\n\nPractice schedule: \n\nFridays 1:30 – 3 p.m. (weekly through May\, if possible)\nSaturdays 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (weekly through May\, if possible)\n\nPlease sign up today\, and let’s get you on the schedule to have fun and help out with some of our practices!

DESCRIPTION:If you’ve been hunting for some outdoor adventure\, look no further. We’ve got a morning of archery\, hiking\, and fishing planned for outdoor enthusiasts. Aim and launch your bow and arrow with tips on techniques from a certified archer. Next\, journey through the woods on a one-mile hike headed for Lake Cunningham. Then we’ll lounge out by the lake\, cast our lines\, and see if the fish are biting. What a way to jump-start summer and test your survival skills. \nThis event is for both teens and adults and can be adapted to any skill level. If you have mobility challenges\, a ride can be arranged from the archery area to the lake for fishing. \nLake Cunningham is not accessible via MOBY or public transportation. If you rely on public transportation\, arrangements will be made to get out to Lake Cunningham if needed.
