We have standard and recumbent tandem bikes available\, or you can bring your own bike or partner if you prefer. To make sure we feel really welcome\, they gifted us 20 complimentary tickets to the season opener\, “What the Constitution Means to Me” by Heidi Schreck – A witty play about belonging and identity\, this show explores how the U.S. Constitution has shaped—and sometimes failed—four generations of women in her family. Using humor and personal stories\, Schreck reveals how the Constitution often leaves out women\, immigrants\, and marginalized groups\, making belonging uncertain. It challenges audiences to rethink who truly belongs in America and invites us all to help rewrite the rules so everyone has a place at the table. \nSo\, ladies and gentlemen\, let’s get out and enjoy a night of live entertainment. Outlook provides tandem bikes\, helmets\, water\, and volunteer captains\, unless you’d like to bring your own bike or bike partner. Both standard and recumbent style tandem bikes are available. Come cruise around Omaha’s Capitol District and challenge yourself to complete the route of your choice. \nThis ride will start and end at the Old Mattress Factory/The Matt Bar and Grill parking lot\, located at 501 N 13th St. End times will vary based on the route you choose.

You are all invited to join us at the Joslyn Art Museum to create a piece of woven art using a loom and materials that represent you\, based on your chosen colors\, patterns\, and textures. We will then combine all the pieces to make one big\, beautiful piece of art with sections as unique as our stories and personalities. This event is free for all ages.

DESCRIPTION:It’s time to jam out to live jazz music! This is a free community event put on every year by Omaha Performing Arts. The park will be filled with music and people\, but we think it’s always more fun to sit with friends. The band that night is Brass Queens\, a female-led brass band that features an all-female horn section. Their music is said to inspire an all-out dance party with a sound that combines the Big Apple and the Big Easy. Please let us know if you’re planning to meet up so we know who to expect before walking down to the park as a group. Additionally\, please plan to bring your own blanket or chair\, as well as snacks and refreshments.

DESCRIPTION:Summer is not over yet! We’re tying our tubes together and traveling down the Elkhorn River. With volunteer tour guides to help navigate the route and the river setting the pace\, you’ll spend the day with a smile on your face. Life jackets will also be available\, along with coolers to keep your refreshments cold. This is not something you can do in Omaha\, but we’re conveniently providing transportation from Outlook Nebraska to Tubing and Adventures and back. We must adhere to our morning departure time\, but our return time may vary slightly depending on the river conditions for that day. So pack your sunscreen\, something to snack on\, something to sip on\, and let’s send off the summer season under the sun! \nRides will be provided from Outlook Nebraska to Tubing and Adventures and back after the float is over for participants with vision. Friends and/or family members are welcome to join\, but must provide their own ride and cover the cost of their tube rental ($30). Sighted friends and family are welcome to join\, but they will have to wear sleep shades. This event is for individuals 21 years of age or older. There is a $10 buy-in at the door on the day of the event for each attendee. There’ll be plenty of food\, drinks\, and good vibes.

We’re kicking off our first ride on the Field Club Trail. This 10-mile tree-covered route offers cover from the sun\, perfect for us as the weather heats up. We have a variety of bike styles and sizes to fit your needs\, from standard stand-up tandems to sit-down recumbent style bikes. Outlook provides the bikes\, helmets\, water\, and a volunteer bike captain\, unless you’d like to bring your own bike partner. No matter how fast or far you want to ride\, we can set you up with a bike captain and a bike that best accommodates you. \nWe will depart from the Community Alliance parking lot to get on the Field Club Trail. Then return to the parking lot after the ride. Community Alliance is located at 4001 Leavenworth St.
