DESCRIPTION:A Night of Honor\, Unity\, and Independence \nJoin us as we celebrate the bravery of those who answered the call on 9/11 and reaffirm our commitment to individuals navigating vision loss today. Many of our clients describe feeling alone on their journey; together\, we can show them that\, much like America\, they never stand alone. \nEvent Details\nHonoring 9/11 \nAs we honor the 25th Anniversary of 9/11\, we invite you to join us for an evening dedicated to courage\, resilience\, and the enduring American spirit. This year’s gala will feature stories from a veteran whose life was forever changed on and after 9/11\, reminding us of the power of unity\, service\, and hope. \nFeatured Experience \nOne of the most impactful and memorable moments of our gala is Dessert in the Dark. During this unique experience\, guests are invited to wear sleep shades while sampling dessert\, challenging them to rely on their other senses. This immersive activity provides a powerful insight into the daily realities faced by individuals with vision loss\, fostering awareness and a deeper appreciation for our mission. \nSpecial Recognitions \nAdditionally\, we will honor our Associate and Volunteer of the Year\, as well as our Peter J. Salmon Award Nominee\, and offer immersive activities for all guests to enjoy throughout the evening. \nPlease note: Guests are welcome and encouraged to dress in theme (coming soon).
