DESCRIPTION:Do you love movie actors or live theater? Are you destined to be a star\, or maybe you’re just a little dramatic? We’re setting the stage for you to unleash your creativity. No experience or training necessary; this is all just for fun. \nWe will be meeting the following Saturdays in October and November:\nOctober 3 @ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nOctober 10 @ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nOctober 24 @ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nOctober 31 @ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nNovember 7 @ 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. \nNebraska Art Council teaching artist Carrie Nath will lead this clinic. Expect a mix of impromptu acting exercises\, scriptwriting\, and skits. \nWe did a Take 1 of this clinic in 2019\, and it was a blast. We can’t wait to see something new for Take 2! The $10 registration fee includes all 5 sessions\, and we encourage participants to commit to attending all of them. The invite is open to all ages and vision levels.

We will share exact locations with registered participants. Meetings will take place every other month on a Saturday. Attending the meeting is free\, but coffee is not included.

DESCRIPTION:It’s our last ride of the season\, so what better reason to partner up and pedal with Outlook’s tandem bike club? We will start this ride at Outlook and ride over to Roast Coffeehouse in Aksarben for a well-deserved coffee\, cocoa\, or tea! Think of it as a reward for your hard work on the trail or as motivation to get out and ride! \nThis is a 10-mile ride at your own pace\, making it perfect for avid bikers and first timers alike. Outlook provides bikes\, helmets\, and volunteer bike partners/captains\, or you are welcome to bring your own bike or biking partner. We have both standard and recumbent bikes available. A standard tandem is designed like a typical upright bike\, but it has 2 seats. A recumbent has 2 seats\, like a chair\, and 3 wheels. This is a great style of bike for new bikers or bikers with balance or mobility challenges. \nWe’re saving a seat for you! Get signed up today.

For the third time\, we’ll be backed by the owner and instructor\, Patricia\, who believes people with vision loss are just as sharp a shooter as people with full vision. \nAfter an introduction to the parts of firearms and the seriousness of safety\, attendees will take turns shooting at both targets and pumpkins. People are always fired up at the opportunity to be a part of this experience! \nSince this event is out of the Omaha area\, rides will be provided from Outlook to Plattsmouth and back. You will be responsible for getting to Outlook and home. Rides and spots are limited.
