We can listen to the holiday tunes, smell the pine trees and peppermint in the air and taste the gingerbread cookies, but what we are missing out on is seeing all the holiday lights and decorations draping the houses we pass by in Omaha. We are solving this problem by having and audio describer join us on this shuttle tour. The describer will bring the lights, tinsel, garland and festive figurines to life and create an audio ambiance with live detailed descriptions that reach our blind and low vision passengers through an ear bud. This added adaptation will make our tour shine brighter than the rest and make the holiday lights tradition inclusive for our group. All aboard the party bus to tinsel town!!~

This run of the holiday lights tour is for kids and teens with vision loss. Space is limited, but if we do not fill all of the seats, we may offer the option for participants to bring a friend or family member to join the fun. Please let Megan know if you are interested in bringing a guest if there is space available.
